Labour's net zero crusade will destroy the UK economy and make no difference to the planet - Howard Cox

Labour's naivety is set to economically destroy UK PLC for an ideal that will not make any difference to the environment, the air we breathe, or the planet.
The egotistical Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, Ed Miliband, is leading the Net Zero futility here in the UK. This man's policies make me think he is the most dangerous politician in the new Government and the principal threat to our future individual and national prosperity.
I believe the net zero doctrine is a man-made, un-informed, arbitrary calendar target to balance the amount of greenhouse gases radiated and the amount eliminated from the atmosphere.
The 2050 political goal is to ostensibly limit global warming and, therefore, uncorroborated malevolent changes to the climate. The government wants to lead the way in hitting this impossible target.
Anyone who challenges the legality or the factual truths behind the Net Zero pipedream is called a denier and declared an enemy of the human race.
The very use of such an adjective, generally allied to those who say the Nazi holocaust was fictitious, quickly places us as the bad guys.
Yet the same emotive-driven accusers base their stifling plans on pure emotion, and most certainly not scientific fact, to promote their idealistic mythology.
The climate change crisis zealots, through the conduits of the BBC, Guardian and the other biased far-left media, regularly deny a balanced debate. To challenge their emotion with evidential science is simply not allowed.
When I appeared on BBC outlets, notably Politics Today, I was permanently shut down for speaking against their climate crisis doctrine.
“The evidence is clear, Howard,” they say: “All the evidence shows our planet is in crisis.” It appears our national broadcaster's policy is to prevent climate crisis deniers from ever being interviewed.
So, any counterviews around Net Zero and Climate Change are restricted to much smaller news but excellent outlets like GB News.
The conceit of most of the West’s world leaders and their myopic governments cannot be overstated; suggesting that we can do something to stop global warming and inevitable cyclical climate change is dishonest, arrogant and for the birds.
Many have all been opportunistically brainwashed by emotive statements from vested, very wealthy, interested parties that men (and women) are indeed responsible for the increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide.
The UK is responsible for 1 per cent of global emissions, with anthropological causation at just 3 per cent.
0.04 per cent of our atmosphere is carbon dioxide, and trying to reduce it further will force us to change our lives detrimentally, cripple us all financially, make us and the economy poorer, and make us colder, unhealthier with no measurable reduction to global warming.
In fact, if CO2 atmospheric concentration doubled to 0.08%, deserts would green up and food production for the world’s expanding population would increase. Go figure.
Carbon dioxide is an essential naturally occurring molecule that, apparently in excess, along with water vapour and other greenhouse gases, prevents heat from escaping through the aether.
However, carbon dioxide has already been fashionably found guilty without a fair trial. Astonishingly, Miliband and his cronies want to push this photosynthetic gas down a hole into the ground to make the planet less green.
It’s called carbon capture. And billions will be spent on this mainly untried, un-consulted, pointless process.
Following the Budget, farmers are forced to sell land for costly, inefficient, subsidised wind turbines and solar panels because Ed Miliband et al. believe that cheap fossil-fuel energy is the antichrist.
The UN, WHO, WEF and others are seemingly driving an undemocratic agenda that appears to be focused on controlling our lives—what we eat, how we heat our homes, where and how we travel.
The UK car manufacturing industry is on its knees. FairFuelUK, through the Cebr, showed that draconian edicts bankrupting our economy are pointless.
When the 2030 virtue signalling ban on new diesel and petrol car sales is completed it will cost at least five times the alleged environmental benefits. It's fiscal insanity!
The organisation, Net Zero Watch, has called on the government to publish a complete, transparent estimate of the costs of decarbonising the economy.
Their Director, Andrew Montford, said: “It is entirely culpable that after twenty years, we still have no official estimate of the cost of Net Zero. Mr Miliband needs to rectify that as a matter of urgency.”
Why is he so scared to tell us the economic cost of his fantasy project if the benefits are allegedly so great?
Ex-Greenpeace President Patrick Moore, PhD, says: “There is no scientific proof that human carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are the dominant cause of the minor warming of the Earth’s atmosphere over the past 100 years.
"It would be written down if such proof existed for all to see. No actual scientific proof exists.”
A global network of over 1,900 scientists and professionals at Clintel says climate science should be less political while climate policies should be more scientific.
They have also come to the scientific conclusion that there is NO CLIMATE CRISIS.

Top retired engineer Brian Catt said: “Thousands of scientists disagree with the effect of CO2 and its contribution to the small change we measure of 1.5 degrees Celsius since 1850, the “record” coldest in 8,000 years.
But Net Zero has been and remains immensely damaging, allowing crazy policies to go almost unscrutinised.
It beggars belief that the last Tory Government and the current very unpopular Labour administration have been and remain blind to the fiscal and social damage Net Zero will increasingly do and is doing to the UK.
Only the Reform Party promises to scrap Net Zero and for the UK to become self-sufficient in its energy supply.
The recent online government e-petition from 3 million people calling for an immediate General Election shows that Labour’s policies are more than unpopular.
With the tax attacks on employers and farmers and the scrapping of winter fuel to help pensioners, Labour’s trillion-pound Net Zero fantasy could bring down Starmer’s government unless common sense takes priority.
I can't see that happening quickly enough, as the quality, honesty, and integrity of these new government politicians can’t see beyond ‘the emperor’s new clothes’, i.e., impervious to reality.
Thank heavens for Donald Trump entering the world stage to quash those unelected greedy globalists and take the lead to restore sanity by increasing oil, gas and cheap energy supply across the world.
